Hi, I'm Peter 👋

I've been singing for as long as I can remember. When I was 11 years old, I was introduced to the weird and wonderful world of barbershop harmony, and my life was forever changed.

Since then I've had some pretty incredible experiences.

As a quartet singer, I sing with British Champion Quartet Limelight, as well as Happy Sundays. I've previously sung with other award-winning quartets including 4 On Demand and Apollo II.

I currently direct Main Street Sound ladies' barbershop chorus, and sing with York City Harmonisers — a mixed-voice choir I set up with my younger brother, Nick. Previously, I've sung with Spirit of Harmony and Hallmark of Harmony, winning a few BABS medals along the way.

I served in various roles on the BABS Board from 2019-2025, and I still present their monthly Tune In podcast.

I love working with quartets and choruses as a coach/clinician — please do email me if you want to arrange something.

What to expect from this site

For several reasons, I don't use social media. So this website is my own little corner of the internet. I like to have somewhere I can share updates, thoughts, successes, failures, and other stuff. You can subscribe to get new posts via RSS if you like.
